This compelling figure of Godzilla, from the final scene of 1995's "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," was originally released as a garage kit by Yuji Sakai Modeling Studio as a Heisei Memorial piece in 2019, the turning point between the Heisei and Reiwa eras. Now it's available as part of X Plus's "Toho 30cm Series" of soft-vinyl kaiju figures, using the same prototype as the garage kit!

This figure beautifully recreates Godzilla's heroic appearance, roaring in the backlight in the last scene of "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah." His characteristic thick chest and strong legs are faithfully sculpted, based on Sakai's on-set photographs from his time as a modeling staff member during production of the film. Sakai's cast prototype was converted into wax, and a master mold was created; this figure is made only from the master mold to reproduce its details as finely as possible.
