This is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item.
Bandai hearkens back to its original "Mecha Collection" model kits with this new release of the Yamato as seen in "Space Battleship Yamato 2199"--and it's amazing! Low price coupled with superior molding means you get a great kit at a great price. Molded in two colors, it comes with a display stand, and the main gun turrets will move after assembly, too.
