Under the supervision of mecha designer Kanetake Ebikawa, focus has been placed on the solar furnace "GN drive", its most important feature. The mechanism that transfers "GN particles" from the driving force "GN drive" to the whole body has been thoroughly researched. The design and the inner frame mechanism have been arranged based on this research, and many details such a newly designed LED unit that recreates the accumulation and compression of "GN particles", new light-guiding material and gimmicks have been introduced in this model.

This is the 3rd release in the first "GUNPLA EVOLUTION PROJECT" of the PG series.
The EVOLUTION POINT is "LIGHT EMITTING".
The light color change due to the behavior of the "GN particles" is expressed by the new "LUMINOUS ELEMENTS".

-"Armor/frame structure" that lets you perceive the energy transmission
The inner frame features exposed cables in various parts, that recreate the particle transmission structure of the "GN drive".
The gimmicks of the external armor make them stand out even more.

-Completely new "LED unit" whose color changes with time
A newly designed LED unit shows the accumulation and compression of the "GN particles" by changing color.
It changes from the "green" of the startup status to the "green-blue" of the operation status and the "red" of the critical status.

-First ever "optical guiding material" in a gunpla
Soft silicone improves the articulation range and makes it possible to have a light-up gimmick using LEDs. In addition, the use of light-guiding resin and other materials allows the light to diffuse to the whole body.

Minute details and gimmicks introduced with thorough researching:
-Increased mechanical impression thanks to the frame and mecha details showing through the gaps.
-The hatch opening gimmick that makes all of the external armor articulated is perfect to enjoy the inner details.
-The texture of the "GN drive" is recreated with a laminated structure and special stickers.
-The wide articulation range, together with the included base, make it possible to recreate dynamic flying action with light-up.
-Plenty of hand parts and weapons with gimmicks are also included.
